The Cottonwood County Board of Commissioners will hold a special work session Tuesday, beginning at 9 a.m., at the county courthouse in Windom.
The work session will be used to discuss several items to plan for future action by the board.
On the agenda, the board will discuss the county landfill, future bonding options, building options and County Ditch 21. The board also will discuss the difficulty the county has had filling a heavy equipment operator position, as well as potential attorney services for Des Moines Valley Health and Human Services.
After all those items have been discussed, the meeting will go into closed session to discuss negotiations for a land purchase.
