Plans are set for Santa Claus to make his usual grand Windom arrival on Saturday morning.
“Santa will again come into Windom on a fire truck,” said Tyann Marcy, executive director of the Windom Area Chamber of Commerce. “And he will greet kids inside the Courthouse from 10 a.m. until noon.”
This year’s visit is sponsored by the Chamber and Windom Convention & Visitor’s Bureau.
Youngsters are encouraged to bring their lists.
Meanwhile, the Chamber and CVB encourage folks to enjoy Small Business Saturday (this weekend) by shopping at local businesses. Both the Chamber and individual businesses have been promoting the big weekend through the Shopper and Citizen.
“It is important to support our local businesses,” Marcy said. “This year it is every bit as important as it was in 2020, if not more so. Businesses are dealing with a lot of things related to shipping and increased costs.”
