In a move that Windom Mayor Dominic Jones called “the first big step” of the Cottonwood Lake development, the Windom City Council has approved a bid for demolition at the Cemstone concrete plant.
The $400,350 bid, which essentially gets the entire site to a buildable state, came from Voss Plumbing & Heating of Paynesville.
The bid is contingent on a few factors, most notably the approval of all parties on a purchase agreement with Cemstone.
