What do you do when a pandemic hits, the governor shuts down most businesses, a stay-at-home order is issued and you have extra time on your hands?
The answer is obvious: You start writing.
At least that is what LaVern Christianson did. Now, twelve short stories and two poems later, Christianson is ready to share his story at Thursday’s Sons of Norway Stavanger Lodge meeting.
The meeting begins at 9:30 a.m., at the Cottonwood County Historical Society, 812 4th Ave., in Windom.
Refreshments will be served and the public is invited to attend this free program.
For more on the meeting, see the story in the Nov. 17 issue of the Cottonwood County Citizen on newsstands Wednesday.
