State Rep. Rod Hamilton of Mt. Lake will be the keynote speaker at the Windom Veterans Day program, which will be held Thursday, beginning at 9:30 a.m., in the Windom Area High School Blue Gym.
Last year’s Veterans Day program was cancelled due to the COVID pandemic.
Joining Hamilton on stage will be master of ceremonies Bryan Joyce, WAHS principal; Wayne Wormstadt, Windom Area Schools superintendent; Fred Meyer, American Legion Post 206 commander; a member of the Windom American Legion Auxiliary; and Windom Boys and Girls State representatives Kaylan Donchez, Michell Macario Rios and Samir Yusuf.
The colors will be posted and retired by Jordan Bussa and Kristen Porath of the Windom Fire Department.
The program will also feature numbers by the WAHS band and choir.
