Donations to the Christmas Cheer Box, Cottonwood County’s annual Christmas gift collection program, is now underway and continues through Dec. 8.
The program, sponsored by Windom Women of Today and the Mt. Lake Police Department, is accepting new unwrapped toys, hats, mittens, clothing, books or other items that would be appropriate for children 18 years and younger.
Cash donations may be left at any bank that has a Christmas dropoff, or mailed to: Christmas Cheer Box, c/o Women of Today, P.O. Box 222, Windom, MN 56101.
For families seeking gifts for their children, applications must be made by Wednesday, Dec. 1.
