Eighty percent of adults have a chronic condition, such as hypertension, arthritis, lung disease, diabetes, depression or anxiety. Living with those conditions can be difficult.
A.C.E. of Southwest Minnesota hopes to help adults living with those issues.
It is offering free online classes each Wednesday for six weeks, Nov. 17-Dec. 22, via Zoom. The classes run from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., each of those Wednesdays in November and December.
Participants make weekly action plans, share experiences and help each other solve problems as they carry out their plans.
Topics include nutrition, exercise, medication use, pain management, emotions and communicating with medical providers.
