At last night’s meeting, the Windom City Council voted to end the temporary reduction of city liquor license fees.
The fees were reduced 50% in early 2020 in an effort to assist local bars and restaurants that had struggled with the pandemic. Last night, the old rates were re-established with on-sale liquor licenses set at $2,000, on-sale Sunday liquor at $200 and on-sale wine and beer licenses ranging from $100 to $150. All are one-year fees.
