Westbrook-Walnut Grove built momentum for the playoffs Tuesday night with a 3-0 sweep over Wabasso at Westbrook.
The Chargers didn’t have any ace serves in the match, but the aggressive serving kept Wabasso on the run and gave WWG several free ball opportunities.
Natalie Wahl was the biggest beneficiary, slamming 17 kills for the Chargers. Kelsey DeSmith added eight kills and had a team-high 21 digs.
Addeson Jenniges went 22-of-24 serving. She also recorded 28 set assists.

Red Rock Central ended the regular season in tough fashion Tuesday night, dropping a 3-0 decision to Tracy-Milroy-Balaton at Tracy.
The Falcons had a hard time slowing the potent Panther attack. TMB’s strong serving kept the Falcons scrambling much of the match.
Karli Arkell led RRC with 14 kills in the loss. Sondra Rindfleisch addd four kills.
Arkell was 6-of-6 serving with an ace. Nora Hemmingsen was 6-of-7 serving with an ace. Rindfleisch went 13-of-14.
Hemmingsen finished with 14 set assists. Lilly Stavnes recorded 17 digs.
