How should the average person deal with an active shooter in a public place?
That and other questions will be answered at an upcoming survivability training event in Windom. The event, which will be led by Louis Norell of the Windom Police Department, is set for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
“Essentially, it’s a two-hour class,” Norell said. “What people will get out of it is a chance to increase survivability in an active shooter incident.”
Anyone interested in the event can RSVP at the Windom Police Department, or on the department’s Facebook page. Those with questions can contact Norell at the Windom Police Department by calling 831-6134.
