Mayo Clinic Health System is bringing its mobile health clinic to Butterfield.
The mobile unit is furnished with exam rooms and has on-site laboratory and pharmacy services. The purpose of the vehicle is to provide health care to patients in rural communities across Southern Minnesota.
The mobile health clinic has three more dates scheduled in Butterfield: today, Oct. 26 and Oct. 28. The clinic will be parked at 123 Second Street North in Butterfield, at the corner of Drake Avenue and Second Street North.
Hours for the clinic each day it is at Butterfield will be from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The mobile clinic will allow patients to receive preventive health screenings and manage chronic diseases. Services the clinic will provide include:
• Treatment for acute illness or infection.
• Vaccinations, including COVID-19 and flu vaccination.
• Preventive services and health care screenings.
• Medication refills and checks.
• Chronic disease checks.
• Warfarin management.
• Wellness visits.
• Pediatric care.
