An open house is being planned to give businesses and the public an opportunity to provide input for a study on the Highway 60 corridor through Windom.
The open house will be held Oct. 26 from 3 to 6 p.m., at the Windom Community Center.
Plans are to allow businesses to provide feedback between 3 and 4 p.m., with the session opening fully to the public from 4 to 6 p.m.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation has been studying options to increase safety and traffic flow on Highway 60 through Windom. The study also looks at options for Highway 71 near the junctions with Highway 60, as well as Highway 62 near the entrance to Island Park.
