Mild weather and just enough August and September rain helped deliver plenty of action for last weekend’s Minnesota duck opener.
“I wasn’t sure how it would be, but the numbers were pretty good, I thought,” said Drake Borsgard, who hunted south of Windom. “A lot of people I talked to seemed to have the same success.”
Mason Anderson, who hunted north of Windom was also pleased with the weekend’s hunt, saying he saw at least as many ducks as he has seen in the past two openers.
