It appears the Cottonwood County levy is headed toward another increase in 2022.
At last week’s meeting, commissioners approved a 3.75% levy increase. Board Chair Tom Appel said that while many governmental units tend to make significant adjustments between the September preliminary levy and the December final levy, he doesn’t see the board making changes.
