At Tuesday’s meeting, the Windom City Council unanimously approved a motion to bring city liquor license rates back to normal levels.
Last winter, the council voted to cut liquor license rates in half, as a way to assist local businesses struggling with lower revenue streams caused by the pandemic. Now that things have loosened up, the council agreed that timing is right to restore the usual rates.
Rates approved at last night’s meeting include:
* On-sale liquor, $2,000.
* Sunday liquor, $200.
* On-sale wine, $150
* On-sale 3.2 beer, $150
* Strong beer authorization, $100.
