There was excitement in the air at the 46th annual Heritage Fair, also known as Utschtallung, in Mt. Lake.
People, from near and far, came for fun, ethnic food, fellowship and a chance to look back and share memories with others. It was a perfect day to stroll through Heritage Village and visit the historic pioneer buildings filled with authentic furniture, wares, tools of trade and more.
Ethnic foods at Heritage Fair included perischke, schnetke, portzilke, zwieback, verenike, moos and peppernuts plus other treats. The food building was a great place to visit with friends and enjoy some favorite Mennonite fixings.
