The Cemstone concrete plants–both at Cottonwood Lake and a proposed site at North Windom Industrial Park–are central topics at today’s Windom Economic Development Authority meeting.
Today’s agenda has the board discussing a letter of intent at each site, plus the demolition process at Cemstone’s current Cottonwood Lake site. It also lists two potential meeting closures, one involving the current site and one involving Cemstone’s potential new location at NWIP.
The EDA and Cemstone are moving toward a possible sale of Cemstone’s longtime ready-mix site to the city for development of homes, townhomes and apartments. The meeting begins at noon at Windom city hall.
