WWG students see remodeled library

When students at Westbrook-Walnut Grove’s 7-12 building in Westbrook returned to school Tuesday, there were plenty of oohs and aahs when they checked out the school’s remodeled library.

Indeed, the library got an overhaul during the summer and it’s unquestionably an eye-popper for local students, says Superintendent Loy Woelber.

“We brought the original ceiling back and got rid of the suspended ceiling,” Woelber explains. “We put in all new windows, new carpet, all new furniture. It got a huge facelift.

“It’s also going to be a Hmong history center.”

That’s not the only changes in the building.
