The Windom Eagles had a strong night at the service line and at the net Thursday night, pulling away for a 3-1 victory over Southwest Minnesota Christian at Windom.
Windom claimed the first set in commanding fashion, but SWC regrouped to take set two. Windom then turned up the heat from the service line, pulling away late to win the third and fourth sets.
Jenna Veenker went 14-of-15 serving with four aces. Kendyl Sammons was 21-of-22 with three aces and Tristyn Maras was 15-of-15 with an ace.
At the net, Maras led the way with 19 kills. Sydney Skarphol added seven kills and Kameron Rupp had six.
Veenker finished the match with 20 set assists. Sammons had a team-high 10 digs.

Red Rock Central bombed away from the service line Thursday night, rolling to a 3-0 sweep over Renville County West at Lamberton.
The Falcons fired 14 ace serves as a team, led by four aces on 19-of-19 serving from Karli Arkell. Josie Horning was 12-of-12 with three aces and Lilly Stavnes went 10-of-11 with three aces.
At the net, Arkell pounded out 15 kills. Horning finished with five kills.
Emily DeCock had a team-high 13 set assists. Stavnes led the Falcons with 15 digs.
