It appears that a local burglar was either interrupted last week, or feeling generous.
On Friday, an area man informed officers he found a cell phone (not his) in his vehicle while parked at the Windom Country Club on the previous night. The phone was found on the passenger’s seat of the vehicle, possibly forgotten there in the heat of the moment.
After checking over the phone, police could find no evidence to identify its owner. Nothing was missing from the vehicle.
