The Windom Area School Board will hold a brief special meeting on Tuesday, beginning at 7 a.m., at the Middle High School Conference Room.
On the agenda, the board will approve the resignation of Tim Mellstrom as a social studies teacher and head golf coach.
Mellstrom recently informed players on the golf team that he had accepted a principal position at Mesabi East High School in Northeastern Minnesota.
The board also will act on the hiring of Jacob Olson as a full-time social studies teacher.
