A fire at Pro-Shed in the Elmendorf Hutterite Colony eight miles southeast of Mt. Lake has destroyed the business’s primary building, where the company constructs its sheds.
Few details are available at this point. The fire call came in about 1 a.m., today, to the Mt. Lake Fire Department Thursday morning. In addition to Mt. Lake, fire departments from Odin, St. James, Butterfield and Windom responded to the blaze.
The structure was new five years ago, when the previous building was destroyed by fire in May 2016.
