A pair of big gifts received approval by the Windom City Council last night.
The first was a $20,000 park donation from longtime Windom resident and former county commissioner Tom White. White’s donation was earmarked for new playground equipment at Tegels Park on Cottonwood Lake.
The second donation came from the Friends of the Library organization. It is a $5,000 gift targeted for the air conditioning system at the library.
