Concussion baseline testing will be conducted tomorrow for all Windom Area High School student-athletes.
Testing will be conducted in the main computer room at the high school from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
A concussion baseline test is required for all students involved in extra-curricular activities at Windom Area Schools. The test is conducted to establish a baseline that is used during the return-to-play protocols if a student sustains a concussion.
The tests are required every two years by the school, but participants may be required to complete a baseline test more frequently if they have sustained a concussion in the past two years. Typically, the tests are taken by students entering seventh, ninth and 11th grades.
Student-athletes will not be allowed to participate in practices or games without completion of the baseline test.
If a student is unable to take the test tomorrow between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., they should contact Jeremy O’Donnell at Windom Area High School to schedule a time to take the test.
