There’s a buzz in the air at the Cottonwood County Fairgrounds, as Day 1 of the county fair gets underway.
This year’s fair brings something for people of all ages. Today starts with the 4-H Food Stand opening at 7:30 a.m. Exhibits, equipment and all sorts of stands will arrive and set up throughout the day.
Later on, at 6 p.m., people can hit the array of inflatibles south of the Arena. Many favorites are back, along with a few new options, according to Holly Larson of the fair board.
The House Cat and Kitten Show starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Oleson Pavillion and at 7 p.m., a grandstand show features Poppa Bear Norton, a country duo that also has comedy type songs.
