The Windom Area School Board will hold its regular monthly meeting tonight, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at the Windom City Hall Council Chambers.
The board will greet staff members retiring from the district at 6:15 p.m.
On the agenda, the board will take action on calling for a special election to renew the expiring operating levy and implement a capital project levy.
The board will also hear information on the district’s back-to-school plan for the start of the 2021-22 school year, will act on hiring ISG services for the design of HVAC replacements and take action on changes to the student handbook for the middle high school.
In other business, the board will present the yearly evaluation of the district superintendent, act on renewing membership in the Minnesota State High School League and approve an updated list of coaching and activity assignments.
On the consent agenda, the board will act to hire two elementary teachers and act to approve three resignations of paraprofessionals. The board also will approve a special assignment for the district’s instructional coach.
