A total of 67 units were collected during the American Red Cross blood drive, held July 28 at the Windom Community Center.
The 67 units included 10 power reds, which equals 20 units. A total of 76 appointments were scheduled.
The drive included one incomplete, 11 deferrals and 10 no shows.
“It would have been an outstanding day, but with 97 degree temps, there were 10 no shows and 11 deferrals,” said Monica Muller, who coordinated the drive for Windom Women of Today. “We greatly appreciate the people that did show up to donate. The Red Cross was very happy and appreciative of the donations they collected.”
