It took a bit of fine-tuning, but the Windom City Council eventually approved a request for an amplification permit from Plaza Jalisco.
The request initially sought permission to hold outdoor music events stretching from August into October. Ultimately, the council voted to allow the permit to cover one month (starting Aug. 20) and specifying weekend nights, unless otherwise specifically noted. After a month passes, the business can apply for another one-month permit.
