Mt. Lake Mayor Mike Nelson has a few hidden talents.
Nelson is up early in the morning — between 4:30 and 5 o’clock every day, seven days a week — brewing root beer at the A&W Restaurant, on the edge of Mt. Lake.
Nelson arrives at the A&W Restaurant long before the business is open to the public and works alone as he brews root beer that customers will enjoy that same day.
