At lTuesday’s meeting the Windom City Council approved a resolution supporting the extension of a TIF district related to the Cemstone housing redevelopment.
Because this TIF for a critical Windom housing development project was about to expire, the city sought and received a state law allowing the extension. Late in this year’s session, state lawmakers passed a special law allowing a five-year extension of the TIF area.
