A familiar face will no longer roam the halls of Windom Area Schools during the 2021-22 school year.
Windom Area Middle High School Assistant Principal Paula Wolter-Mattson submitted her resignation from the position last week. On Monday, Wolter-Mattson was hired as the new middle school principal in Marshall.
Wolter-Mattson had spent her entire 30-year career in education in the Windom school district, teaching kindergarten as well as grades 2, 5 and 6 and the Intro to Education class at the high school level.
