After missing a year due to the COVID pandemic, county fair season will be back in 2021, getting underway this week in St. James.
The Watonwan County Fair kicks off today and runs through Sunday at the fairgrounds in St. James, with featured events at the grandstand.
Tonight’s featured event is a teen dance, starting at 7 p.m.
Friday will feature a truck and tractor pull at 6 p.m., followed by a concert at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday will feature the demolition derby at 5 p.m., a concert at 8:30 p.m. and fireworks at 10:15 p.m.
