A total of 44 bicycles of all sizes were given away in this year’s Windom Kiwanis bicycle giveaway.
The bikes were donated by area residents and repaired by Kiwanis members with significant help and expertise from Schwalbach Hardware’s bicycle repair specialist, Bob Christopherson.
The event also included a bike rodeo, sponsored by Windom Police and Windom Area Health. As part of that activity, two new bicycles were given away.
