Price to increase for Citizen newspapers

For the first time in more than a decade, the price of a Cottonwood County Citizen newspaper will increase.

Starting with the July 7 edition, a copy of the Citizen will cost $1.50, rather than $1.25. The price of the Citizen’s sister newspaper, the Mt. Lake-Butterfield Observer/Advocate, will also go from $1.25 to $1.50 on July 7.

The last price increase occurred in 2010, when the single copy price rose from $1 to $1.25.
