Folks looking for a good meal before tonight’s fireworks only need to look as far as the Tegels Park shelter area.
This is a major fundraiser for Riverfest and features a hamburger, brat, or hot dog, chips and a beverage, all for a family-friendly price.
Hy-Vee, as a sponsor of Riverfest, is providing equipment and food for the cookout, with all proceeds going to Riverfest. Also at Tegels Park today, the craft and vendor show begins at noon, the beer garden opens at 8 p.m. and fireworks begin at 10:15 p.m.
