Very few changes are expected next week, as one of Windom’s longest running downtown businesses, Hammer’s Furniture, changes hands.
Bill and Vanessa Tjentland of Windom announced late last week that they have purchased the store from Dave and Sheryl Eyberg. Vanessa, who has worked at the store for just over two years, said that for customers the transition will be seamless.
“Our customers will still be taken care of,” Vanessa said. “There is change, but not a lot of change.”
The Eybergs will continue to work at the store for at least another year.
