Tickets for the 2021 Miss Riverfest Pageant go on sale at the BARC Office on Friday. Tickets may be purchased by phone or stopping in at the BARC Office, Monday through Friday, 1 to 5 p.m.
The pageant will be held June 7, beginning at 7 p.m., in the BARC Auditorium in Windom.
There are no restrictions on seating, contrary to what was published in the Citizen on Wednesday. All tickets are general admission seating. Some seats will be reserved for contestants’ families.
Tickets are $7 each and also will be available at the door.
The pageant is a scholarship event for the five candidates competing for the honor of Miss Riverfest. Windom Women of Today will again award scholarships to Miss Riverfest and the first runner-up, with gift baskets going to Miss Congeniality and Miss Photogenic.
More details on the pageant, including short biographies on each of the Miss Riverfest candidates will be included in a Miss Riverfest Pageant preview in the June 2 edition of the Citizen.
