Eagle boys win at Tracy

Boys: Eagles 182, Rebels 223, Chargers 236, Panthers incomplete
Girls: Rebels 217, Eagles 226, Chargers incomplete

The Windom boys golf team picked up a win of a four-team meet Friday at the Tracy Country Club, while the Eagle girls placed second. Westbrook-Walnut Grove was shorthanded in the meet due to a senior class trip, as the Charger boys placed third while the girls played incomplete.

Windom’s boys finished the day with a score of 182. WWG was third with a 236.

For the girls, Murray County Central won the meet with a 217. Windom finished with a 226.

Individually for the boys, Windom senior Parker Alvstad was the meet medalist, firing a 40. Eli Lund added a 46 for the Eagles, while Carter Rossow and Zach Rabbe each shot a 48.

Brady Ross led WWG’s boys with a 43. Kole Curry and Aidan Mumm each shot a 63.

For the girls, Allie Ward paced Windom with a 50. Ada Lund shot a 55, followed by Lily Mellstrom with a 57 and Maddie Alvstad with a 64.

Madison Martin was the lone WWG girl, finishing with a 59.

Boys: Knights 197, Tigers 207, Falcons 207
Girls: Tigers 219, Falcons 240, Knights 241

Red Rock Central’s girls finished second and the boys finished third on a tiebreaker Friday in a three-team meet at Marshall.

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton won the boys meet with a 197. Marshall and RRC both shot 207, with Marshall winning on a fifth-score tiebreaker.

For the girls, Marshall won the meet with a 219. RRC shot a 240, edging RTR by one stroke.

Individually for RRC’s girls, Bailey Timm led the way with a 54. Carlee Sell shot a 56, followed by Lexi Weber with a 63 and Aryanna Weber with a 67.

Justin Klabunde led the RRC boys with a 47. Charles Dammann shot a 52, followed by Mason Gode and Matthew Horning each with a 54.

Boys: Coyotes 172, Wolverines 223
Girls: Coyotes 211, Wolverines incomplete

Heron Lake-Okabena-Fulda picked up a sweep over Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey Friday at Fulda. The Coyote boys claimed a 172-223 win, while the HLOF girls shot a 211 against an incomplete Wolverine team.

Individually for the MLAC boys, Aiden Rehnelt led the way, shooting a 52. Noah Rempel added a 55, followed by Branden Hopper with a 57 and Daniel Gardiner with a 59.

Olivia Christians was the lone girl in the Wolverine lineup, firing a 48.
