The Windom Area School Board will hold its regular monthly meeting Monday, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at the Windom City Hall council chambers.
A special recognition of district retirees will begin at 6:15 p.m., prior to the meeting.
On the agenda, the board will have a discussion of renewing the district’s operating levy. The board also will have a discussion of strategic planning services with the Minnesota School Boards Association.
The board will act on a project change order for renovations to the Highland building. The board also will act on a fund transfer request from ECFE to the school readiness program.
The board will discuss plans for the 2021 graduation ceremony and will take action on the preliminary 2022 fiscal year budget.
In personnel items, the board will act on several resignations and a retirement, will approve hiring a CTE instructor, a paraprofessional and a custodian and will approve peer coaching agreements and additional contract days for district principals and the school nurse. The board also will act on non-renewal of a teaching position, and will act to bring that position back at a reduced rate.
