Windom Ambulance Department to see big change

A plan to expand the number of Windom ambulances recently received a green light from the Windom City Council.

Ambulance Director Tim Hacker told the council Windom’s 2016 Chevrolet ambulance has 156,000 miles and is due for replacement. Hacker noted that demand remains high, on pace for 1,000 calls this year, plus the number of hospital transfer requests is growing.
