A source close to the Jackson County administrator hiring process has informed Citizen Online that Windom City Administrator Steve Nasby is not the top pick for that job.
According to the source, Jackson County has an offer pending to another candidate. Last week, it was announced that Nasby was among five finalists for the county’s new administrator position.
Nasby, who has been Windom’s city administrator since March of 2006, told Citizen Online at the time that he was attracted to the new challenge and also the chance to be closer to family in Jackson.
