Watonwan County libraries is holding a special virtual event on April 29 with best-selling author Susan Meissner.
The Zoom session will be held at 7 p.m.
Meissner is a renowned author of Christian and historical fiction. Her recent release, “The Nature of Fragile Things” is about the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, a mail-order bride and dark secrets.
Meissner is a native of Southern California and currently resides in San Diego, but she is no stranger to Southwest Minnesota. Prior to becoming a best-selling author, Meissner was in the newspaper industry, serving several years as the editor of the Mt. Lake-Butterfield Observer/Advocate and winning numerous Minnesota Newspaper Association awards.
During the Zoom session, Meissner will talk about her newest work, but also plans to talk about other novels she has written.
