Public input will be among the factors in deciding the future of Windom’s River Bend Liquor.
Last week, after an hour long presentation of three potential expanded liquor store designs, the council held off on decisions. Options include an expansion at the current site, new building at the current site, or move to the Shopko building.
All three designs meet Manager John Nelson’s hope that the store double in size. A shortage of space and cooler doors has been an ongoing issue.
In any of the three options, the plan is to use revenues to fund the project.
