Windom artist David Strom was one of four artists to receive an Individual Artist Established Career Grant from the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council.
The grant provides up to $7,000 to aid established career artists in the advanced stage of their career development with projects that will advance their career.
The grants were announced recently by SMAC.
Strom received $7,000 to paint 12 new 36-by-60-inch acrylic paintings that visually relate to 12 finished pen-and-ink drawings he has already completed.
