Pieces are falling into place for one of Mt. Lake’s historic buildings to become a beehive of activity.
On Monday, the Mt. Lake EDA board approved $24,851 in financing to assist with a renovation project at the former First National Bank building at the corner of Third Avenue and 10th Street. Adam and Karina Bryant have purchased the building. The rural Mt. Lake couple plans to open “The Botanist,” a business Adam describes as “a high-end beverage establishment.”
If all goes as planned, the business could be open in time for Pow Wow.
