Tuesday night’s Windom City Council meeting features a host of items, such as tax abatements at Gove Acres and fire service fees, but the most time-consuming discussion will likely be the River Bend Liquor feasibility study.
Last fall, the council hired a firm to analyze the potential for an expansion of the current liquor store, new store, or a move to the Shopko building. On Tuesday, the council will get a close look at what the study shows.
Mayor Dominic Jones has stated that he’d like to see liquor store revenues pay for any future liquor store expansion project.
