The Windom Eagle track and field team hosted a Big South Conference triangular Thursday, taking on Jackson County Central and Pipestone.
The Eagle boys claimed first place in the triangular with 63 points. The Eagles finished second in the girls team standings with 54 points. JCC won the meet with 58.
Individually for the Eagle boys, Dylan Serreyn and Alex Altman were individual double-event winners. Serreyn placed first in the high jump (5-10) and triple jump (37-8) and placed second in the long jump (18-11½). Altman took first in the shot put (39-3) and discus (125-0).
Carter Vancura added a first-place finish in the 100 dash (12.89) and Cameron Alm won the 800 (2:30.96). The Eagle team of Alm, Chance Elness, Eli Bordewyk and Aaden Nauman also won the 4×800 relay (10:02.68).
The Eagle girls were led by Delaney Smith, who captured first in the shot put (42-0) and discus (121-9).
The Eagles added individual wins from Hadley Sammons in the 100 dash (14.75), Lucy Stevens in the 200 (29.87), Gracie Bucher in the 800 (2:32.08), Kaylee Walklin in the 1,600 (5:50.78) and Jadyn Wormstadt in the high jump (4-6). The Eagle team of Stevens, Sammons, Erika Lopez and Bucher placed first in the 4×200 relay (2:00.09).
