The upcoming Hwy. 60 detour plan is now in place.
Weather permitting the inside islands of three roundabouts will be reconstructed in Worthington on Hwy. 60 at the intersections with Oxford St., I-90, and Nobles County Road 35 at a cost of $977,441.
The detours will remain in place until the end of construction, but access to businesses will be provided throughout the project.
When complete in August, the redesign of the roundabout curbs to better accommodate large trucks and minimize load shift will improve motorist safety.
