EDA board supports request for facade program

At Monday’s meeting, the Windom EDA board approved a request for just over $2,800 in funds through its Facade Improvement Program.

The application came from Town & Country Appliance, located at the corner of Highway 60-71 and Ninth Street. The plan is to power wash and paint the building’s exterior, including the storage shed in back.

This is the second business to use the Facade Improvement Program which provides applicants up to $3,000 in forgivable loan funds over a five-year period.
