The Windom Area School Board will hold its regular monthly meeting Monday, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at the Windom City Hall council chambers. A special greeting session for retirees from the district will be held at 6:15 p.m.
On the agenda, the board will review a census study to project future enrollment in the district.
The board will act on summer food service hours, as well as an increase of .5 FTE for new K-12 staff for the 2021-22 school year. On the consent agenda, the board will act on numerous staff hires. Discussion will be held on potential additional staffing needs for next year and for 2022-23.
The board also will act on reopening contract negotiations with the district’s paraprofessionals, as well as reopening contract negotiations with the district’s custodians, food service workers and secretaries.
The board also will act on calling for public hearings for three new housing projects.
